TEI business searches use the 15-digit GSTIN rather than a business name, helping reduce mismatches between businesses with similar names.
What if a business has no TEI profile?
A profile is available where verified contributors have shared trade experiences. No profile may simply mean there are no experiences recorded yet; it is not a rating of the business.
Will the business know who shared an experience?
TEI business profiles display moderated experiences without revealing contributor identities to the business concerned or other users.
Who can use TEI?
Individuals involved in trade and registered businesses can create an account to check business profiles and, where eligible, share actual trade experiences.
Does TEI recover payments or resolve disputes?
No. TEI provides trade-experience information. It is not a court, recovery agency, complaint forum or grievance redressal authority and does not adjudicate disputes.
